Dr Arvind V Athavale

Dr Arvind Athavale, Professor in Community Medicine at MMCMGUH has around 30 years of teaching experience. He published research articles in the medical journals of national and international repute. He also actively participated/coordinated various community health projects (around 41). He held university academic position in the past as a Chairman of Board of Studies at Peoples’s University in Bhopal. He has conducted many research workshops for the faculty and postgraduate students of the college he served. He has been awarded with BEL-IND award for the Best paper he presented in the conference at Calcutta in 1997. He had also been awarded and delivered the prestigious “Dr. Ramadwar Memorial Oration” at “Pune Public Health Conference 2014-IPHA-IAPSM Joint Conference”.

Besides this our student hostels have sports and recreational facilities with a playground in campus.
